[seqfan] chess endgames

Hi all,

There is a sequence on 8x8 chess-end games (A260954; Longest checkmates in
chess with n pieces on the board) and I think there could be more. How
about a sequences like
"Number of positions such that quickest mate with King, Bishop and Knight
vs. King is in n."? Can data be recovered from endgame tablebases? For now,
all positions with up to 7 pieces (each a king and some other pieces) have
been completely solved.
http://www.k4it.de/index.php?topic=egtb&lang=en has them up to 6 pieces in
total (excluding a lone king). Maybe put up a selection or all these sets
of pieces? What do you think?
