It may be worth mentioning that the first reference
(*) https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autosuite_de_nombres
was written by (a user identified as) Paul Curtz, and that other
contributors to the French Wikipedia have marked the article as containing
unpublished claims.

Paul's article does cite the OEIS, for what it's worth: A011973 and A034807.
