My understanding is that Malbolge is best thought of as a cryptosystem, and
apparently Lou Scheffer has decent cryptanalysis. A quick search shows that
he went further than I remembered, and has instructions (though not
explicit code) on a BF interpreter

which would solve that task by transpiling, e.g.,
