Just to clarify the definition of A228474, it states "... if the number
landed on has been landed on before, move a distance of k away from zero
instead". It looks like that can also land you on a number that has been
landed on before - am I correct to assume that's fine, we just accept the
repeat and continue in that case?

I have some ideas about for algorithms to cope with the difficult cases,
which I'm just starting to implement.
