"So, pending the outcome of a(36618), which is still running, I have a b-file up to 36617."

That's where my b-file will have to remain. Hugo's C code was unable to complete the search at 36618 because of insufficient disk storage space (and I had 1.8 TB available to start with). But I am actively working on extending an a-file which is currently past 217800. My entry for a(36618) is "> 6.9 * 10^12".

There is a large-number cluster from 217792 to 218050. It will take me a month or so to make any progress on it and I'm painfully aware that the numbers at the end of the cluster are even larger than the ones at the beginning. Beyond that is a spike at a(274788) > 2.3 * 10^12. There's another large-number cluster from 275130 to 275164 but that takes care of obstacles to 300000.
