[seqfan] Re: Don't forget the Index to the OEIS - for linear recurrences regenerated

Hi Kevin,

this regeneration process is semi-automatic.
I run it every 2 months or so.

I think adding the correct link entry (with the zero-filled,
2-digit order and the proper signature) in the sequence
is simple, and should *always* be done.

The entry in the wiki "Index for linear recurrences
with constant coefficients" is more tricky:
- Loading and storing the article takes quite some time.
- The sort order of the signatures is to be obeyed.
- The wiki database has to store another copy of
the huge (750 kB) entry every time a person changes it,
even when he adds a single A-number only.

I'm not the one (Neil is) to advise whether you
- only *could*,
- normally *should* or
- always *must*
edit the wiki Index article also.

Regards - Georg
