The difference is that A256112 is a looser restriction, as the whole number (which is pandigital in base b) doesn’t have to be divisible by b, the last digit is just chosen so that the number is pandigital. And in A111456 it has to be divisible by b, so A111456 might be finite and A256112 is probably not.
