I think it can be combined if we can be sure that there are no solutions
for 7th powers other than the ones with equivalent 4th powers. As
you pointed out, a 4th power solution gives a 7th power one. Is the
reverse also true? (It isn't clear to me. I didn't think
about it at the time.)<br>
