preprint versus journal

I remark that the *existing* html link in EIS is the most useful,
since the database at xxx.lanl.gov provides PS, PDF, DVI, Tex source, etc
as well as the final journal reference.

It would downgrade the EIS to *replace* the preprint link by the journal
reference, since many journals (selfishly) deny access to E-files,
while xxx.lanl.gov (used by math people as http://front.math.ucdavis.edu)
is open to all.
