I have given up trying to hire someone to help.

So i am using the seq-fan community to help with the refereeing:
really horrible sequences I reject outright; the rest i add to
the database with appropriate keywords,
usually "new", "more", "easy", sometimes "obsc" [obscure]
or "uned" [not edited].

Then feedback and comments from seqfans (like those that David Wilson
just provided) will hopefully clean up these entries.
