And the next suggestion is to construct a list
of the number of references to the sequences
submitted by each person, but counting out
the references from the submitter's "own"
sequences (taking also into the account various
"handles" people use). Although I admit
that at least I am notorious for adding
cross-references from the older sequences
to the sequences that I have just submitted
by myself. (So maybe the script could count
out the cases where there's a double link both
way... Because then it's probably intentionally
made by the author of the more recent sequence)

Maybe even better would have some statistics
from the log file, which are the most favorite entries...
