BTW, the reason, why I became interested in counting
the multiplicity of lattice points for a given radius was
the observed behavior of landing probabilities
in the simulation of self-avoiding
random walks for a given Euclidean distance from
the starting point, which is of course dependent on how
many landing points exist.
