here's my 3rd thought on the copas problem --
my 2nd thought being that it's probably what
superseeker does already, but i thought i'd
go ahead and think about it anyway --

i will need to refer to some old seqfan notes ...
i'm finding that my ltm (aka google) is less
useful if my stm (aka me) can't remember
what to probe it with.

i don't know if there's an e-live way to link to the seqfan archive,
so i'll start posting them as i find them under the heading of
"rote ariffmetic" at my home away from home sites:
