of course many composers have played with this besides J.S. Bach.
Note that there are various conventions for B and H and also
for other altered notes to get more alphabet letters.
For Niels GADE, look at a complete edition of Schumann's
Album pour la Jeunesse (Jugend Album).
One of the piece, Northern Song is a "Greetings" to his
friend GADE using those notes (sol la ré mi). It is not
included in all editions, it is normally numbered #41
and is often the next-to-last piece.
Note that the french/latin way of naming notes has been
also used this way. In fact it seems it started as an
acrostiche if one believes traditionnal histories of music
