Neil,

After searching googling and ploughing through some of the hits I come to
the following conclusion:

The clue seems to be in the author line: +orc

The riddle appear on many pages with claim that someone named +orc (Old
Red Cracker) has posed. It is supposed to be a link to a webpage (coded
as IP number).

The pages are dated 1997 and 1998.

The number of the given the sequence do not seem to be connected with the
riddle.

Hence I regard the entry a spoof to get the riddle into the OEIS.
