Partition ordering

Interestingly, it turns out that the Abramowitz and Stegun ordering and the Mathematica ordering of the partitions on n are closely related.  If you take the partitions of n as ordered by either one, reverse the order, and replace each partition by its conjugate, you get the other ordering.
