I don't know why I'm bothering but...

The current submission and review process for OEIS sequences is very crude. 
NJAS cannot be expected to personally review the growing volume of sequences, 
and if the OEIS is to outlive NJAS, which it must given its importance in the 
literature, some other review process must be instituted.

Lately, NJAS has complained several times about the volume of sequences, the 
quality of submissions, the quantity of submissions from certain individuals, 
and has asked editors to verify sequence values.

These issues could all be addressed by a review process.  Incoming submissions 
would be added to a submission database, and would not pass into the OEIS proper 
until they were properly reviewed.  The review process would be supported by 
software that eases the review process and enforces standards.

Obviously, this would require work.  The question is where you want to direct 
your work, to improving the process or firefighting the ever-increasing backlog 
of submissions.
