Abstract 
Explicit exact analytic expressions are
obtained for the electric
potential distribution and for the electrostatic
interaction energy for the
system of two parallel dissimilar cylinders in an
electrolyte solution on
the basis of the linearized Poisson-Boltzmann
equation.
