Hello Richard and SeqFans,
[You, Richard]
> The problem that arises is: the next difference, a139334(12)
requires a leading 0 to match the final 0 in a(8)=340; this
cannot be included in the OEIS.
[Me]
... yes, an integer with a leading 0 is forbidden in the OEIS --
this means that one has to find the smallest number not producing
an integer having a leading zero -- but still fulfilling the other
criterias, which are:
- concatenation of digits (of S) is the same string as concatenation
of digits of S's first differences,
- and sequence S and first differences of S have no term in common.
If you put 34 (in the "first differences" seq A139334) the problem
arises, as you mention; so put 3403 instead, et voilà !:
[You]
2, 24, 28, 311, 312, 325, 337, 340, 365, 398, 405, 439,...
with the first differences A139334:
22, 4, 283, 1, 13, 12, 3, 25, 33, 7, 34,...
[Me]
2, 24, 28, 311, 312, 325, 337, 340, 365, 398, 405, 3808,...
with the first differences A139334:
22, 4, 283, 1, 13, 12, 3, 25, 33, 7, 3403,...
Best,
Eric A.

Objet : problem with Jeux de suites in A139334
If the sequence A139334 is continued following the rules in the definition, we get:
2, 24, 28, 311, 312, 325, 337, 340, 365, 398, 405, 439,...
with the first differences A139334:
22, 4, 283, 1, 13, 12, 3, 25, 33, 7, 34,..
The problem that arises is: the next difference, a139334(12) requires a leading 0
to match the final 0 in a(8)=340; this cannot be included in the OEIS.
I have no access to the Angelini article and cannot say how it works around that
case.
Richard
