self-describing seqs -> self-documenting data structures

seq fans,

though i've been interested in sequences of things that i call
"self-dcoumenting data structures", whose godel codings yield
the corresponding integer sequences, i've never had a taste
for the sorts of base-dependent schemes that we've been
seeing here of late.

do any people have examples of such things
with more base-independent descriptions?
