Was sind die Wikis und was sollen die OEIS Wikis?

this is just a comment for the future, as i do not think
the wiki systems i've seen -- with regard to either their
social or their technical architectures -- are up to the
task of taking on the OEIS right now, but if people are
going to explore wiki systems they should at least look
at several different models besides the Wikipedia, er,
let's just call it "travesty of the wiki paradigm".

two examples just off the top of my head would be:

the PlanetMath model : http://planetmath.org/
the Mywikibiz model : http://www.mywikibiz.com/

these two wiki's allow for different mixtures of spaces that are either
(1) author-owned, or (2) voluntary collaborations, or (3) common areas.
talking to the managers of these sites might provide seqfanners with
a fund of experience and ideas on how to tailor a wiki environment
that would be suitable, some day, for the rigors of high volume
sequence indexing.
