The current definition of A005228 sounds like a property not a definition:

%N A005228 Sequence and first differences (A030124) include all
numbers exactly once.

I think there many such sequences exist. Does A005228 imply the
lexicographically smallest  sequence of positive integers?
If so, I suggest to change the definition to:

%N A005228 The lexicographically smallest sequence that together with
its first differences (A030124) contain every positive integer exactly
once.

Also, Franklin suggested a different sequence where "first difference"
are replaced with their absolute values.
