Dear Seqfans, This is in resposnse to some questions
asked by Jonathan Vos Post.
If S and T are two important infinite sequences,
such as "core" sequences,
then I think it would be worthwhilein some cases to have the
sequence a(n) = S(n) + T(n) in the OEIS
Using the correct offsets for S and T, of course,
and taking the offset of the new sequence to be the max of the
offsets for S and T.
But the subsequence of primes in the new sequence is much
less interesting, and should probably not be added
Jonathan, if you do submit some sequences of this type,
please say simply
%N a(n) = A000001(n) + A000002(n).
- and don't try to copy the definitions of S and T!
Neil
