Edwin, the usual procedure is this:
Let A be the older sequence and B the newer one.
Merge A and B into A
Recycle B (edit internal format, replace all
the lines with a single line saying
%K recycled
)
Add a line to the Deleted sequences web page in the OEIS wiki
Finally, go to B, look at the "refs" tab,
change all occurrences of B to A
All this assumes B is a new entry. If A and B have
both been in the OEIS a long time, we would
mark B as "dead" rather than recycling it.
