If students are considered "members of the general public" I'd think that'd
give you a nice pool of "affiants".  Maybe some of Nadia's compatriots?

Similarly I might be able to drag my son David along when I go see the
notary.  But what's that "of lawful age" constraint?  He's just turned 20.

If you need more I might be able to rustle up other non-scientist users (eg
my business partner Kyle *Stirling*, who started by ego-surfing the OEIS!)

I would also be happy to put out a call on the Hackers mailing list, which
includes folks with day jobs like lawyer, toy designer, sculptor, falconer,
chef, etc.  Probably best to wait on that until you have the desired wording
settled though.
