It was one of the A-numbers that were allocated to people but went 
unused and were never recycled. In fact, A183168 is on the partial list 
that I posted last year at 
http://list.seqfan.eu/pipermail/seqfan/2011-November/008564.html .

Some of those A-numbers I listed have since been used or recycled. 
Allocated A-numbers should be recycled automatically if they remain 
unused for over a month, but this isn't happening.
