Yes there is a reason.

This not someone but an automatic script in the Encyclopedia updating
records.
so that progressively all OEIS contributors
that have registered will be mentioned by a unique and consistent name,
without disclosing
their email address. When displaying the sequence, it links to their OEIS
Wiki user page.
