I'd suggest following the advice of MFH, who is an Editor-in-Chief (unlike me and Omar), and delete the "Archimedean spiral" part completely (but don't split the paragraph with your signature; just put it at the end of the paragraph). Your explanation from your next-to-last message looks rather clear, especially when compared to the existing one.

A side remark: if you need to contact an editor personally, you can go to his/her OEIS wiki user page and use the "Email this user" link on the left (it only appears if you are logged in to the OEIS wiki).
