[seqfan] Re ambiguity of p(n)

Remember that

primes = A40, partitions = A41

and has been that way for ever

Reason:

A40   2 3 5 7 11 13 ...

comes before

A41   [1 1] 2 3 5 7 11 15 ...

in lexicographic order, which was adopted by me in the mid 1960s

A43 is    2, 3, 5, 7, 13, 17, 19, 31 ..      2^n-1 is a prime (Mersenne
exponents)

The common beginning of 2 3 5 7 ... is what led Richard Guy to write his
famous paper "the strong law of small numbers"

This question came up because there are still sequences that say p(n) in
their definition - it is recommended that you say either prime(n) or
partition(n)
