Looks like we all agree up to a(20). Good news indeed!

Michael's post on Wolfram groups has a number of good illustrations,
including some animation.   I recommend it to others interested in
this topic. I was very surprised to see AI discussed there.

Using a different numerical algorithm, Michael Trott 
obtained the same terms up to the 20-gon: 

{1, 1, 3, 3, 7, 7, 14, 14, 25, 21, 41, 40, 63, 60, 92, 72, 129, 121}
