[seqfan] Re: So-called "junk" journals

OK, maybe you are in a very small country
with plenty of oil money. No chance of getting accepted
by that top journal.

Or maybe you are  sick of arguing with referees at the top journals, and
just want to
get your papers published.  You might well say to yourself,
it would be worth a couple of hundred dollars not
to have go through every point on the instruction sheet or the author's
checklist of that [top] journal.
Not to have to convert all the figures to eps format. And so on.

I've certainly felt that way myself!
