A quick postscript, and Neil may have already taken this into account: I
just searched for [example:1,5,18,36,34] and got both the new sequence and
A117938, another Gary Adamson sequence from 2006, with the same table but
with an extra column/row. All the way since A118980 revision #1 it has had
a CROSSREF Cf. ..., A117938,... although A118980 made no other reference
to A117938.

Could A117938 have led to the original A118979 being considered unnecessary?

I found R. J. Mathar's comment in A117937 about the author's "definition
of binomial transforms" informative.
