In the issue 10.2019 of the German magazine "Spektrum" (p. 81)
Florian Freistetter discusses Conway's powertrain and
its fixpoints and states:

... Sieht man von einzelnen Ziffern ab, fand
Conway neben der 2592 keinen anderen Fixpunkt.
Sein Kollege Neil Sloane stellte allerdings fest, dass
24547284284866560000000000 im Powertrain
eingesetzt wieder zu genau dieser Zahl führt ...

[Disregarding single digits, Conway found no
other fixpoint except 2592. However, his colleague
Neil Sloane found that 24547284284866560000000000
inserted into the powertrain leads again exactly to that
number ...]
