# [seqfan] Riordan's classical formula and Juric's calculations

Dear Neil,

In my opinion, the best way out of a cituation is the following:
a) to create, together with A000179, a new sequence A: a(n)=A000179(n)-\delta(n,1), wich is in concordant with the rook theory;
b) In A000186 to refer to A only (not to A000179) and not say about the error of Riordan which he never made;
c) To change title of A170904. E. g., Sequence arising by a formal reading the Riordan's formula for K_n, using A000179. In section "formula" to write that using a(n) one can also enumerate 3Xn Latin rectangles by the formula :
A000186(2n)=a(2n) and A000186(2n+1)=a(2n+1)-A001700(n)*A000166(n)*A000166(n+1).

Best regards,
